Cedarcrest Center offers children with special medical and educational needs a healthy, safe environment where they can grow and develop to their fullest potential. The Center provides a calm, comfortable setting in which children are surrounded by caring, dedicated staff who encourage and nurture them every moment of the day.

Cedarcrest Center is, above all else, a home that brims with love for the children in our care.  From cozy bedrooms and a sunlit day room to open, colorful classrooms, the Center is filled with children’s artwork, handmade quilts, toys, birds, music and special friends.

Parents, guardians and extended family play a major role in each child's care.  With guidance from staff, parents identify goals for their child's stay.  To ensure that each child's full potential is realized, an annual Total Plan of Care synthesizes in put from a child's family, physician, and local school district personnel, as well from the appropriate local developmental disabilities agency, from Cedarcrest Center clinical and educational staff.  This team formally reviews each child's medical, therapeutic, educational and social goals against progress indicators on a quarterly basis.
