In addition to providing state of the art medical care and individualized education and therapy programming, Cedarcrest Center is highly regarded for its comfortable and home-like atmosphere. Rooms are sun-lit and cheery with lots of children's artwork and colorful quilts on the walls; staff are enthusiastic, energetic and encouraging; and the overall feeling is that of compassion and love. The facility is brimming with activity as the children are engaged in activities from morning until night with little time spent in their rooms. Great care is taken in their day to day programming. Children attend school or the Infant/Toddler Program Monday through Friday. Those who take food by mouth go to the dining room for meals and late afternoons and evenings are spent in group activities such as games or listening to stories.

Cedarcrest Center offers programs and services ranging from residential long and short term stays, specialty evaluations, special education and therapy services to training for family members and care providers. 
Our Board of Trustees, staff and key stakeholders including family members and medical and educational providers are frequently evaluating the needs of children with complex medical and developmental disabilties throughout our community and adjusting our strategic plan to ensure that we continue to develop the programs that are most in need.
